TRAINING & SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Are you looking for a lively, interactive, and skillful facilitator to run your next leadership training series or speak to your group? I like to start with a theoretical basis or framework – the professor in me can’t help this – and then walk the audience through the practical application of the theory. I infuse personal stories and solicit audience feedback to create an accessible and dynamic climate. My goal is for each audience member to leave feeling more informed, uplifted, and equipped to apply several “take-aways” immediately.
I’m a higher ed and business leader with media training. My leadership style and content are based on lived experiences, which translates to relevant, meaningful learning for your group.

Leadership and communication-based training sessions are necessary to equip team members and retain talent. I can customize the training to your group’s needs and priorities. “Our nursing leadership team has had the pleasure of engaging with Dr. Sarah Holtan on leadership development. We had some newer, less experienced leaders join our team and when they asked for more development in their positions, I immediately thought of Sarah.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with her in other positions and I have always been impressed with her intelligence, style, engagement, and knowledge of leadership, in particular women’s leadership. Her presentation style is interactive and thought provoking. She has a lot of experience to share, which allows for “real life” stories that resonant with leaders at whatever stage they are at in their career. As we continue our yearlong leadership series with Dr. Holtan, I look forward to seeing our team grow both professionally and personally.”

“Within Kacmarcik Enterprises, our employees have had the privilege to participate in a variety of Dr. Sarah Holtan’s professional development opportunities. From “Building Consensus for Successful Projects” to “Activate your Leadership with Communication Styles” during spring and summer 2023.
When considering additional ways to engage our workforce we decided to welcome Dr. Holtan back to the Kacmarcik Center due to the feedback we received from our participants. They were requesting additional workshops from her based on their ability to connect and interactively engage with her during these 1-hour sessions. As we continue to transform our learning culture at the Kacmarcik Center, Holtan has played a helpful role in relating her content specifically to our range of employees and finding ways to draw them in. One of the participants shared this experience: “She is an outstanding speaker with easy-to-understand breakdowns of complicated workplace concepts. Her great knowledge and intimate understanding of the material has me interested in future classes.”
